How do I add a submit button to my blog?: Go to your settings and check off ‘allow submissions’ and save.
How do i add a personal pictures page?:
step 1: you make sure every photo of yours that you add has the same tag (me, myself, whatever you want as long as it’s the same).to add the tag, do this: when you add your photo there’s a place on the right of the page where you add it to type in tags.
step 2: Go to customize and scroll down to your pages on the left. Click add a new page. Change the page type to redirect. Make sure you type something in the page url part, since it redirects it doesn’t really matter what you type but i’d call it personal or mypictures or something to keep yourself organized. then you’d put (whatever your url is).tumblr.com/tagged/(whatever you made your tag) in the spot where you put the link. make sure you check off “show a link to this page” and type me, mine, myself, personal, or whatever floats your boat. then save.
how do i add a logo/banner to my blog?:on my theme, it’s easy. you just scroll down on appearances to where it says “logo image”. and upload your photo. then you check off “use logo” in the check boxes part. with other themes, you might have to go to an image hosting site such as tinypic.com & get the html there.
how do you put a playlist on your blog?:
hypster instructions: make an account. type a song or artist into the search bar. look at the results and choose the ones you want. repeat until your playlist the way you like it. click the account tab. drag the songs into the order that you want them in. on the right (under the account tab) theres a thing that says ‘player skins’, click on that. select the tumblr one (left). then you choose what you want your player to look like. if you look at the tabs above you’ll see (the one selected) ’choose skin’ and another tab ‘configure settings’ click configure settings. there you can choose if you want your music to start automatically and where you want your player to be shown (and some other stuff i didn’t bother with). finally, click get code and copy the html code that they give you and paste it into your info box under customize. you can paste it anywhere you want & it will always end up at the bottom, but i suggest pasting it at the top or bottom so you don’t get confused. if you need any more help just message me and i’ll try to get back to you asap!
